High Resolution Regional Model (HRM) is the numerical weather prediction model developed by the German Weather Service (Deutscher Wetherdienst - DWD) in 1999. Many meteorological centers, universities and international research institutions run this model. It is the standard atmospheric model adopted by the Marine Meteorological Service (SMM), by the Brazilian National Meteorological Institute (INMET) and by more than 30 institutions in many countries. The Agreement established with the DWD allows the SMM to receive fundamental data for the model initialization.
